On 5 December 2021, the Pieter Teyler House will open as a new wing to Teylers Museum. A ticket to Teylers Museum includes a visit to the Pieter Teyler House. 

In the museum, a coronavirus entry pass (CoronaCheck) is required for everyone aged 13 and over. It is necessary to wear a face mask and you need to keep 1.5m distance from other visitors. 

Please keep to the hygiene rules: wash your hands regularly and cough and sneeze into your elbow. 1,5 meters remains a safe distance.

  • What is the policy of the museum regarding the coronavirus?

    The Museum Association has produced a detailed protocol for museums, based on the measures announced by the Netherlands National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and the government.

    In the museum, a coronavirus entry pass (CoronaCheck) is required for everyone aged 13 and over. At the entrance, we therefore ask you to show your QR code in the Corona Check App (or on paper), in combination with a valid ID.

    Please keep to the hygiene rules: wash your hands regularly and cough and sneeze into your elbow. 1,5 meters remains a safe distance.

    Do you have health complaints related to COVID-19 on the day of your visit? Please stay at home.

  • Opening hours

    Teylers Museum is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • I am a wheelchair user. Is Teylers Museum wheelchair accessible?

    Certainly: all the rooms are accessible to wheelchair users. Visitors who are unable to move around the museum unaided are permitted to bring one person to accompany them free of charge.

    There is a disabled parking spot in front of the museum, although we are unable to guarantee that it is always available. The car park De Appelaar, close to the museum, has disabled parking spaces.

    Two manual wheelchairs are available in the museum. Motorised wheelchairs are subject to special rules: it is mandatory to proceed at walking pace.

    We regret that wheelchairs with an internal combustion engine cannot be admitted to the museum.
